No such thing as best.
All about what suits you.
Rather go hormonal or fe. condom?

Not all hormonal ones are the same either.
Pills, creams, patches, sponges, diaphragm, rings, Intrauterine devices…

So think about the best option for you, talk with your doctor. Sometimes you need to try out a couple before you find the one you like best.

I have a IUD and I don’t think I’ll ever go back. although I only got to this because everything else just wasn’t right for me. It’s all about trying out the best thing for you.

IUD’s are usually the choice for women who already have had children.
They require a certain physique?

And there are a few different ones in this category as well. Also they need a doctor to insert and remove it. Other than that, I hear they are quite a care-free option for those it suits!

abstinence is always the best choice, but foregoing that there are many options depending on what suits you best (Nuva ring, Pills, IUD, etc), but whatever you may choose make sure you are using it correctly and continue to use condoms! Otherwise there is always the possibility of getting pregnant or getting an std.

uh…

newer versions have higher risk – http://www.npr.org/2011/06/01/136864370/fda-issues-warning-about-some-birth-control-pills

older ones have lower risk, but the risks are the same.

condoms or no sex seems like the best deal. taking risks with one health is too much. i rather have a kid when i am not ready for one than a stroke.

I get depo provera shots. I like them because I only have to get one every 12 weeks and I have about 4 periods a year. I also use condoms.
